St. Lucia Estuary is known as the gateway to the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park & an ideal base to explore the immediate attractions as well as big 5 game reserves & Zulu cultural villages a little further away. The Indian Ocean meets Lake St. Lucia to form the largest estuary in Africa.
The village boasts several restaurants, pubs as well as fruit & craft markets. Highlights would be :-
